As you guys know I didn’t exactly have the smoothest flight back to San Francisco from New York. I’m already missing Fashion Week, but seriously nothing beats home.
Especially after that awful mid air experience.
Looking out at that blue California sky from the back of my Lyft on my way home was such an ah ha moment. I’m just such a San Francisco girl at heart. Fashion Week was seriously life changing and I’m already plotting for next season. But nothing beats that feeling of coming home from a trip.
Do you guys know what I’m talking about?
Anyway prepare for full on Fashion Week overload for like the next month (lol sorry not sorry). I’m ready to dish on all the awesome trends I saw while I was in New York!
One of the biggest trends I saw while at New York Fashion Week was blush. Literally everything in blush tones.
There was also a ton of velvet – but we’ll save that for another time.
I popped into my local Ambiance boutique here in San Francisco to pick out some pieces for Fashion Week and this little blush jacket immediately caught my eye. I love juxtaposition in my outfits: feminine with a bit of edge. The fact that this jacket is such a dainty color but in an edgier cut is perfection.
The jacket was def a statement piece but actually it was the dress that was my absolute fave to wear. You guys know I’m an all black everything kind of girl. This dress is sheer, flirty – and actually kind of hot.
It’s been rainy and gross in SF lately so I’ve basically looked disgusting for weeks. It felt so good to feel sexy for a day.
I also kicked the outfit up a notch in typical Haight St fashion – with some thrifty finds. I snagged these boots from a consignment store around the corner from my apartment for no joke $30. Also these heart tights are from ASOS and were $13.
Nailed it.
Happy Friday my beautiful little Bagel Babes. I hope ya’ll have a good long weekend!

Well I’m liking the blush tones then! Muted, simple colors are so perfect and the jacket looks fantastic with the all black!
Thanks Rebecca! Blush tones are going to be big this year, I can feel it. I’m also an all neutrals kind of girl so love that blush can now be a neutral 😉

And I’m definitely thinking about September…are you? I know it’ll be more expensive to get out there which is a bit of a pain but I had so much fun I’m like already ready to go back lol!
