White (Way) After Labor Day

I have a serious holiday hangover.

Not in a bad way. Like I am seriously depressed the holidays are over. I miss the Christmas music and the twinkling lights. I miss the time off with friends and family.

But back to reality.

And also back to blogging! I want to thank you guys for being patient as I took the teensiest break over the holidays and for my birthday. I think it’s super important to take time off. I hope you guys had a relaxing holiday, too!

Summer is long gone but I’m still not done wearing white jeans. There’s something so clean and crisp about this outfit. I’m loving it for Winter and early Spring.

I paired my favorite white jeans with a chunky grey sweater and some booties. The sun’s been in and out of San Francisco, but it’s definitely been consistently chilly. I turn into a really angry human when I’m cold so keeping warm (even in these summer bottoms) is super crucial.

Oh and let me formally introduce you to my borderline irresponsible purchase: my first Louis Vuitton. Actually my first designer handbag ever for that matter.

I saw this bag on Lydia Millen and it stuck with me for weeks. I couldn’t get it out of my brain.

Do you ever get like that about something? Like fully thinking about it for days straight. Dreaming about it. Picturing every single outfit you’ll wear it with.

I never thought I’d own a designer bag, but I have to say now that I do I’m in love. I plan on writing a whole post about this baby so stay tuned.

One of my best friends told me that once you own your first designer bag, you’ll get hooked. Yikes! My wallet hopes she’s wrong but I’m pretty sure she’s right.

I’ll be saving up for my next designer purchase and rocking my casual outfits until then. Wink wink.

Happy New Years! Tell me what you did over the holidays in the comments below!

I happen to think designer bags are an investment purchase – I have a vintage prada that my mom gave me and she has a Chanel tote that I’m lusting after (and one she said she’ll give me…someday). That bag could be an heirloom someday! 🙂
And I also love wearing white in the winter – there’s something so crisp and clean about it that stands out during the cold days! Love those jeans!

I totally wear white after labor day and I don’t even care…It is still so chic and that is such an old myth. I’m on the verge of buying my first real designer bag right now and I’m having such a hard time biting the bullet…You’re inspiring me!
