Time Saving Skincare with Olay Daily Facials

We’ve definitely talked about my dry skin in the past – but usually I’m sharing my skin story or a multi-step skincare routine.

But not today, ya’ll.

Today it’s allll about getting a deep clean without all the steps. I’ve been mixing Olay’s Daily Facials Daily Clean 4-in-1 Water Activated Cleansing Cloths into my skincare regimen and it’s saving me so much time.

I’ve been on a huge no makeup kick lately. I think the older I get the more I come to realize just how much skincare matters. I don’t want to be trying to cover my skin up – I want to feel so good about my skin that I have the confidence to go makeup free. My problem is I often fall short of my skincare goals because I’m so lazy. Taking care of your skin takes time – so I’m all about finding ways to give my skin the love it needs without investing a ton of time.

So I’m super excited to say I’ve partnered with Olay to take you guys through my favorite way to get a quick, but crazy effective cleanse using these facial wipes!

★ Step 1: Wet the Olay Daily Facials cloth

Let’s get ready to rumble. To get started I always run my Olay Daily Facials cloth under slightly warm water. You can do cold or warm water – I just enjoy the warmth!

Daily Facials are water activated so this step gets the party started.

★ Step 2: Rub to lather up!

Next I’ll rub the cloth to create just a little friction – this causes it to lather. Daily Facials are actually soap free but they get nice and sudsy for a deep, but gentle clean. I always hate that “squeaky” clean (aka tight skin) feeling that some cleansing products leave behind. I already have dry skin so don’t love feeling like my face is tight. Olay nailed juuuust the right balance of clean but hydrated.

★ Step 3: Cleanse it up

To cleanse my skin I’ll rub my Daily Facials cloth in circular motions across my face. I like to start on my cheeks because that’s where I tend to pack on the most makeup. The cloth is slightly textured with little pockets that gently exfoliate as I wipe.

I’m actually in love with these wipes because they break down everything. Most skin routines have the need for a makeup remover, a cleanser, a toner, and a moisturizer, but the Daily Facials wipes eliminate the need for so many steps. On an average day I’ll wear a tinted moisturizer, bronzer, blush and maybe some eye makeup.

The Olay Daily Facials break down all of it. Even mascara.

I’m basically into anything that saves me time so I love this quick way to get in a good cleanse.

★ Rinse away

Right before I fully rinse off – I love looking at all the nasty stuff on the Daily Facials wipe. Lolz gross I know. But a dirty wipe means a good clean for me.

Anyway back to business. Next I’ll give my face a good rinse. I actually like to do my final rinse with cold water to close my pores. This seals in all the moisturizing benefits from the Olay conditioners in the cloths.

★ Dry

Mmmm my favorite part – shoving my face into a cozy towel.

I gently dry my face using a nice fluffy towel because it feels ultra luxurious. I just pretend my bathroom is a spa. It’s a great way to live life.

I’m really stickin’ to this attempt at the no makeup trend you guys. I actually just got eyelash extensions and I’m so obsessed – totally saving time in the AM on doing eye makeup!

But the numero uno step in nailing down the no makeup look is healthy skin. I love that I don’t need tons of products to give my skin a little TLC. So here’s to the one step way to cleanse, exfoliate, and hydrate all in one.

Nailed it.
