I’m outdoorsy in that I like getting drunk on patios.
I love being outside frolicking in the sun just as much as the next blonde, but I refuse to step outside without sunscreen. Applying sunscreen to areas that are frequently exposed to the sun will save your delicate skin from the damaging UVA/UVB rays. Below I rounded up some of my personal favorites that will have you covered from your head down to your well manicured toes!
Now grab a chilled adult beverage and relax.
Spray this on your locks before hitting your next pool party. Especially great on color treated hair.
I’m obsessed with this eye cream! The skin underneath our eyes is incredibly delicate and thin – in need of extra protection from the elements! If you have sensitive skin I recommend going to Sephora and asking for a sample. This cream is on the pricier side, but this jar will last you well over a year. Note to only use this as an AM eye cream and leave the SPF for during the day. Switch it for to a more evening appropriate eye cream at night!
There are a lot of face sunscreens on the market and it can be very overwhelming making a decision which one works best. I have been a devoted fan of La Roche Posay for years and I don’t think I will ever turn my back on this amazing sunscreen. Just like with any face cream or mask, you should extend the application down to your neck and décolletage. Those areas are often overlooked and I want to make sure you only get better with age.
This is a new addition to my fleet but I’m already in love – it’s easy to apply and leaves my hands moisturized. Throw the travel sized bottle in your purse for easy application on the go.
This sunscreen smells like a vacation in a bottle. There’s not much more I can say, you just need to try this for yourself. The effects are intensified if holding a fruity drink in hand.
Enjoy the sun!
