I have an addiction to Glossier.
Last year during my time in NY for New York Fashion Week I popped into the Glossier showroom and got lost in the magic of their makeup and skincare. I picked up a few products...and promptly ordered more online.
I may or may not have almost every product Glossier makes. But seriously. I think I'm only missing the Priming Moisturizer Rich and their sunscreen at this point.
Anyway, I digress. I'm obsessed.
Although I yap about my love of all things Glossier on Instagram Stories almost every day, and did a full YouTube review, I realized I've never really done a full breakdown on the blog.
We're going to tackle Glossier's makeup line today - I'll save skincare for another day because that deserves a post all to itself!
The Glossier Priming Moisturizer is to be applied before makeup to hydrate the skin. I'll keep it real - this cream is more moisturizer than primer. It's light (definitely not for you if you have super dry skin) and does help to keep the skin tacky and moist before applying foundation. Not my fave product, but not the worst primer I've ever tried.
The Glossier Skin Tint is exactly that - a tint. If you're hoping for full coverage (heck, even medium coverage), you'll be disappointed. I love to reach for this skin tint on my "no makeup makeup days." When I'm looking to sort of pep up my skin, but not go all out, this is my option!
I've been loving the Glossier Stretch Concealer lately! This concealer is light to medium coverage and super flexible - you can spread it and build it up to the amount you need. I love that it's hydrating, never cakey, and gives me the flexibility to let my real skin show through if I want to.
The Glossier Wowder is a must have for me - it literally makes the Skin Tint work for me. The Skin Tint has light coverage and can feel too dewy sometimes. Wonder helps to add the slightest coverage and adds a slight demi matte finish - it rocks.
I LOVE GLOSSIER CLOUD PAINT. This is hands down my favorite cream blush. Cloud Paint is super pigmented, but also super bendable. A little goes a long way! I love the natural flush I get from these blushes. I have almost all the colors!
Glossier Haloscope and I got off to a slow start. I struggled with how stiff this product is. Heck, I still struggle with it. My solve? I like to warm it up on my ring finger and gently tap it on the high points of my face. Boom. Nailed it.
Love a good tamed yet untamed brow? Me too. Glossier Boy Brow is a lightly tinted brow gel that is perfect for combing hairs into place - or out of place. Whatever floats your boat. Boy Brow floats mine.
I own so many lip balms and lipsticks it's not even funny. My drawers are overflowing, so it takes something really special for me to reach for it on repeat. Balm Dotcom and Generation G are definitely special. Balm Dotcom is a hydrating lip black (or full body balm - totally your call) that comes in hydrating and delicious scents (my fave is coconut). Generation G is Glossier's lipstick formula - always matte but never drying. Think popsicle stained lips.
