BRIDE VIBES coming at ya today.
I'll be honest that I went back and forth on having a bridal party for a while. I'm not a big fan of the prom looking #BrideTribes littering social media. And I totally say that meaning zero disrespect to anyone that likes that sitch - it's just not my vibe. You gotta do you. But at the end of the day I did know one thing...
I have some seriously special women in my life that I wanted to celebrate with. These are the humans I want to bachelorette it up with. The humans I want to get ready with me on the morning of. These are the ones I call when shit is great or when it's getting too real.
But if I'm doing a bridal party - I'm doing it my way. Enter, BAGELMAIDS.
HAAAA, just try to tell me that's not so freaking clever.
So yes - I rounded up a handful of my best babes and asked them to be my Bagelmaids the only way I know how. With a good old fashion girls night in.
I feel like any good girls night consists of a few crucial components.
★ wine
★ mani/pedis
★ face masks
★ chick flicks
★ PIZZA
I knew I wanted the vino to be flowwwwing that evening, but also wanted to add a personal touch to the whole situation. I ordered custom wine glasses from this ETSY shop for each one of my Bagelmaids to drink out of and take home as a souvenir. Also I'm a very "one for you and one for me" sort of gift shopper (lolz) so I got myself this wine glass as a little trinket.
I set up a little mani station on my coffee table by arranging my fave nail polishes on a marble slab. I'm a big fan of the Essie Gel Couture polish. I also tossed a variety of face masks and under eye masks on the table next to the polishes for full spa experience.
Not pictured in these photos are the chick flicks (primarily Bridesmaids to stay on theme) and the pounds of pizza and snacks that were devoured. DELICIOUS.
Bagelmaids night was such a great kickoff to this whole wedding planning process. I'm so stoked to have such a good little crew of nuggets with me on this ride!
