February Favorites

You guys!!! We’re nearly three months deep into 2016 already! Can you believe February is already coming to an end?! It’s actually really scary and weird how fast the time flies – how’s your 2016 been so far? I haven’t been doing as well with my 2016 goals as I wanted but thankfully I have the rest of the year to keep at it!

I’m really excited to introduce a new blog post series called “monthly favorites”! Every month I’ll clue you guys into my favorite products that I reached for all month long. This could range from beauty products to pieces of clothing – or random odds and ends I found myself loving throughout the month!

I’m easing you guys in with a few of my February Favorites – these are the three beauty products I found myself loving all. month. long. Ya feel?

Spring is all about feeling fresh, dewey, and beautiful – and my three February favorites have me totally obsessed.

I have a horrible habit of not only having dry, chapped lips…but maybe sort of also kind of picking at them? Yeah I know it’s a nasty habit and I’m really trying to stop touching my lips. The good news is that the Sugar Lip Treatments by Fresh are helping my lips to feel so hydrated I’m not tempted to touch! I’ve been reaching for the color “Tulip” all month long which is a beautiful sheer pop of pink, but Fresh makes these lip treatments in a whole range of colors. I’m dying to get my hands on “Passion” and “Fig” next!

I’ve also fallen in love with the cult favorite Benefit High Beam highlighter. I am kind of dying over Chrissy Teigen’s highlighted cherub cheeks lately (hands up for all y’all with cherub cheeks like me!) so I ran over to Sephora to pick up a liquid highlighter to try and copy her look! I’m contemplating doing a post all about getting perfect dewey, highlighted skin – thoughts? I’m loving the glow I get from High Beam – it’s one of my new favorite highlighters!

Okay drumroll please #BagelBabes…the best part of my February favorites is the new Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette! Too Faced is known for their “Chocolate Bar” eyeshadow palettes (that smell like real chocolate!) and they released the Bon Bons palette at the end of 2015. Guys. This bad boy is hard to find. Literally it is sold out in San Francisco (trust me – I know) and also just sold out online at both Sephora and the Too Faced website. But shhh I just found it still available online at Macy’s and I’ve linked it below just for my #BagelBabes. I got your back.

I have a lot of eyeshadow palettes but I am over the moon with the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette. Between the adorable packaging to the smell of chocolate to the beautiful pink and brown shades – this palette is my #1 February favorite.

My February was full of flowers and candy – along with lots of love from family, friends, and my wonderful boyfriend – so admittedly I’m sad to see it go! I’ll definitely keep reaching for my February favorites even as we move into March and can’t wait to share with you next month what I couldn’t keep my hands off!

What were your favorite products from February?

I’ll have to do a whole post “How to Win Yeezys” but spoiler alert: “be lucky” is the answer.

  2. Benefit’s High Beam is one of my all time most loved products ever. So subtle but can completely make a look.
