Everlane Court Sneaker Review

If you follow me on Instagram or YouTube you already know – Everlane is my JAM. At this point about 95% of my wardrobe is Everlane, right down to my bra and undies. So naturally I had to dedicate a post to the new Everlane Court Sneaker.

And yes – I wear Everlane bras and underwear lol. Their underwear is actually really bomb you should check it out. But I digress.

Every time Everlane launches a new product I am on the waitlist, first in line to buy it – and definitely quick to review it so that you guys have the most up to date information. I did a recent blog post about Everlane’s newest Winter 2020 launches and a recent YouTube video focused on Everlane shoes specifically, but wanted to dedicate an entire blog post to a new Everlane shoe launch:

The Everlane Court Sneaker.

Straight up – sneakers are one of the most wasteful clothing products to produce. Almost all the materials are single use and high waste – think nasty plastics and rubbers that aren’t great for the environment.

Everlane – with their mindset towards capsule wardrobe dressing, sustainability, and transparency – has tackled this tough product category in the past with their Trainer sneaker. The Court Sneaker is their latest in their “Tread” collection – a line of sneakers that aim to reduce waste.

Make and materials.

The Everlane Court Sneaker is made of a 100% leather upper from a Gold-Certified tannery. The sole of the shoe is made with a blend of natural and recycled rubber that’s 94.2% free of virgin plastic. The lining? 100% recycled polyester. As far as the carbon footprint goes, the production is 100% offset in partnership with NativeEnergy.

The long story short here? This is a sneaker you can feel good about wearing.

Sizing.

Transparently, Everlane shoe sizing can be a little all over the place. I order up in some shoes and down in others, but with the Court Sneaker I found this shoe to fit perfectly true to size.

Comfort.

From a comfort perspective, I find the Everlane Court Sneaker reasonably comfortable for a fashion sneaker. I will say – none of Everlane’s sneakers are “comfort” sneakers. These aren’t necessarily built as orthopedic shoes. But like – they feel good. They fit well. They’re comfortable to wear all day long.

Final thoughts.

All in all – the Court Sneaker is actually my favorite Everlane sneaker thus far. I loved the Trainer, but I did find the styling and design to be a bit on the athletic side for me. I love that the Court Sneaker is streamlined, chic, and designed as more of an everyday fashion sneaker.

I also have super sensitive feet and find these really comfortable and easy to wear.

I dig’em.
