How I Use My Erin Condren Planner to Manage My Life

Hello earthlings!

I feel like I've been yapping non stop about the polls I did over on Instagram Stories a few weeks back but they were seriously so helpful. You guys told me allll the posts you'd love to see - so I'm knocking them out one by one!

A peek inside my Erin Condren LifePlanner was definitely highly requested. I'm always using my planner to write down ideas, schedule my personal life, and schedule my blog. I actually use my planner as my blog content calendar!

I've been showing it off on Stories (along with my massive collection of decorative stickers...) and have gotten so many DMs with questions. I thought I'd answer all planner related inquiries in this handy lil' post AND YouTube video. Yup - you heard that. I filmed a full plan with me video so that you could fully see how I plan out a week.

Let's do this.

Is the Erin Condren Planner worth it?

The Erin Condren LifePlanner is not cheap. Starting at $55, I'm the first to admit price is not a pro of this planner. But that doesn't mean I don't think it's worth every penny

I fully believe the Erin Condren LifePlanner is worth the money. The covers are all durable and interchangeable. You can even write on them with dry erase markers! The paper itself is super high quality and thick. Ink bleeding through to the other side of the page is a thing of the past. I also love how well designed the interior of the planner is. The monthly and weekly spreads are intuitive and there are even inspirational quotes strewn throughout the planner - to keep you focused and motivated!

The Erin Condren LifePlanner is the only planner I've used regularly and I'm obsessed with it. For me, it's absolutely been worth the money.

Why use a paper planner?

We definitely live in a digital age. While iPhone notes and calendars along with useful apps like Evernote can definitely get the job done - I have yet to find a digital way to compile everything I need in terms of scheduling and notes in one easy place. I also find that I remember things better when I physically write them down.

Obviously this is a personal choice - but I'm all about that paper planner lifestyle.

How to personalize your planner

The Erin Condren LifePlanner makes personalization so easy! One of my favorite things about using a paper planner is treating it like a yearbook or a memory book. I love to decorate and personalize my planner.

I've been a huge fan of buying Erin Condren interchangeable covers. This means I can use my covers year after year and switch them out as it suits me! I have a marble cover I love...and of course a cover with cats on it. Because #CatMomLife.

Let's talk stickers

Stickers are my favorite way to personalize my planner. Because I treat my planner sort of like a memory scrapbook, stickers are the easiest (and most fun I think) way to personalize and decorate! I'm not talking about using your average run of the mill stickers from Michaels - there are hundreds of ETSY shops that sell stickers specifically for the Erin Condren LifePlanner.

Hundreds.

Because the LifePlanner has specific boxes (and a cult following) people go bananas for decorating. I, my Bagel Babes, have definitely gone bananas. Get on the sticker train with me. We have snacks. And stickers (obviously).

My favorite ETSY sticker shops

JaxandPepper - Easily my fave shop for the best Erin Condren sticker kits hands down. A lot of planner stickers tend to look very cutesy (definitely not on brand for me). I like a cleaner, more elevated look which is exactly why I love JaxandPepper. Their stickers have some of the chicest designs and you can choose the sheets you'd like to buy instead of committing the $$$s to a full kit you may not finish using.

DoodlesDoAU - My fave shop for social media stickers. If you're a blogger you'll love using social media stickers to keep yourself on track with post planning. The only downside is this is an Australian shop so the shipping times to the US are horrendous. Order well before you need them.

PaperDoveShop - Modern sticker kits and the most adorable little icon stickers.

TheAtomicPrintShop - Another great shop for chic or unique sticker kits. Sometimes their designs are a tad too cute or feminine for my taste, but I love that they push the envelope when it comes to aesthetic.
