Day trips look a little different now ✨ but it felt refreshing to leave the house. 😂 we drove up to Napa for a little jaunt to @pejuwinery (my ride or die - we are members). The tasting experience was nice, but just different. We swung by @hogislandoysterco on the way back to the city 🦪 DELICIOUS. Look at his intense focus selecting oysters. Lolz. Happy long weekend y’all I love ya.

Hello. It me. ✨ I post to my feed maybe once a month because I just CANT. ⠀

But in all honesty I just want to say it’s been a really weird, stressful, and hard few weeks. We are all going through it. Whatever “it” is for you. ⠀
⠀
I’m trying to get back into a habit of practicing gratitude on a daily basis. I have so much on my radar right now that has me worried. Concerns me. A lot of “what if’s” - but if I stop to focus on the NOW, the REALITY, the CONFIRMED, it’s a lot easier to manage. Grounding is helpful. Gratitude is life changing. ⠀

So here’s my list of top 5 things I’m grateful for today:⠀
🖤 a partner that comes to the table without judgement, but comes with love and care first.⠀
🖤 a cat that is clueless AF. I aspire to that level of no fucks given lol. ⠀
🖤 the space and time to try new things. ⠀
🖤 A new found focus and appreciation for health. I’m not sure I would’ve had this had this year been any different. ⠀

Swipe right for a friendly reminder that 99% of the pics on your feed are lightly retouched. It’s subtle - but over time it fucks with you. Why do I have zits? No one else has them. Why do I have melasma? No one else has it. Y’all - we Facetune. Celebrities facetune. Bloggers facetune. Your friends facetune. No shade, I do it, too. But just a lil friendly reminder that underneath that blur filter is discoloration, plenty of peach fuzz, and hormonal chin zits galore.
