Skin is IN. Why Elemis Should Be On Your Shopping List.

Honestly, the Brits know a thing or two about skincare. Some of my favorite beauty brands come from overseas - Elemis being one of them.

I have a serious addiction to UK based beauty bloggers (my absolute fave is Victoria of In The Frow). I had heard some of the girls I follow talk about Elemis, but I never thought I’d be able to get my hands on the products.

UNTIL NOW. Seriously. Red alert, people. Elemis is now at Ulta

I’ve used some products from Elemis’ Superfood line in the past. You can check out a full post about that line over here. But today I wanted to loop it back and talk not just about my Superfood faves, but my all time Elemis faves.

Let me break it down.

About the brand

Let’s start by talking about THE BRAND. Like, what even is Elemis? What makes them different.

The highlight: Elemis is the #1 luxury British skincare brand. Numero uno, people. Elemis is so legit overseas they even have beautiful spas you can go to.

The big differentiator: Elemis is where nature meets science. In fact, they like to say “Defined by nature, Led by science.” I’m a skincare nerd so I appreciate when my products are backed by fact. I love a good all natural product - but I also love a product that was played with in the lab if ya know what I’m saying. Best of both worlds.

Products I love

Cleansing balm

I love a good cleansing balm. I used to suffer from crazy acne and it turned out it was because I wasn't properly removing my makeup before cleansing my skin and applying all my products. My products weren't able to penetrate my skin.

This cleansing balm deep cleanses and leaves skin crazy soft. It has rose and mimosa waxes, infused with elderberry, starflower and Optimega™ oils. It's also supercharged with anti-aging algae, Padina Pavonica. 9 essential oils. Basically all good stuff.

Superfood face wash

I wrote about the entire Elemis Superfood line here - but this bad boy is still a fave. This wash has a Supergreen Complex of wheatgrass, kale, nettle and minerals. It also has Superfood lipids, broccoli seed, avocado and pumpkin seed oils.

Papaya enzyme peel

I AM ADDICTED TO THIS PEEL. Every time I use this product I have soft, retextured skin. This at home peel has natural fruit enzymes of exfoliating Papaya and calming pineapple to smooth and clarify the complexion. It also boasts nourishing milk protein, anti-oxidant rich Vitamin E, and marine algae. This peel is perfect for complexions which are sensitive or mature.

Night recovery cream oil

I love a good serum, but oils are new to my routine. This skin synchronizing night cream-oil helps support the skin's natural renewal processes. It glides on easy and smells like a spa. Imagine gentle hydration.

Collagen night moisturizer

I have a pretty robust moisturizer collection, but this night cream really does take the cake. This cream is not too light and not too heavy, leaves skin soft and plush, and does not have any assaulting scents. I hate when I go to slather on a cream and am left sneezing and sticky. This bad boy is definitely worth the price tag.

Shop my faves.
