Anine Bing’s graphic tees and sweatshirts have become wildly popular, particularly around the blogger/city living Millennials. There’s something about those giant BING sweatshirts that are just super attractive.
But at almost $200 a sweatshirt and $100 a shirt…the prices are wild. So – is Anine Bing worth it?
What exactly is Anine Bing?
Anine Bing is an LA based designer who started as a bit of an influencer. After building up her platform, she launched her line modestly with a few pieces and now the line has grown to have stores across the country.
Anine Bing pieces tend to be capsule wardrobe adjacent (not quite as basic – but not “trendy” per-say). The aesthetic of the line is a bit like West Coast casual meats East Coast edge. Think lots of neutrals, contrasts of feminine silks with slouchy sweatshirts, and plenty of denim and leather.

So why is everyone so obsessed with Anine Bing anyway?
I mean…her shit’s cute. The line is just that perfect mix of casual, comfy, but somehow dressed up enough to make you look like you have actual style.
So – are her pieces worth the price?
Anine Bing tees cost on average $99 at the time of this post with sweatshirts ringing in at $169. So the real question of this Anine Bing review is – are the prices worth what you get?
Can you find a tee or a sweatshirt cheaper? Absolutely. And that tee or sweatshirt is probably fast fashion that will pill, tear, and barely last a single season.
Anine Bing fabrics are heavy and thick – they won’t tear or pill. The styles are also capsule wardrobe adjacent, meaning they won’t go out of style, tempting you to toss them after a few months.
Yep – Anine Bing is expensive AF. BUT if the prices are in your budget – they’re definitely quality pieces with designs that will last.

I personally have four Anine Bing sweatshirts and three tees. I love them all.
I’m eyeing this sweatshirt to add to my rotation along with this tee. I’m also eyeing her silk skirts, but they’re just a little bit out of my price range right now.
